The competition, attracting the world’s best gymnasts, serves as a “dress rehearsal” toward the European Championship scheduled to take place in Spain in June 2018 (two weeks after the competition). Holon continues its proud and longstanding tradition of hosting the competition for the 15th consecutive year in the presence of Holon Mayor, Moti Sasson.
“Grand Prix” is an important and prestigious international competition held in 8 major cities throughout Europe, attracting the world’s best gymnasts year after year. Israel is the only non-European country to host the competition.
Over 250 gymnasts will take part in the competition, travelling from more than 24 countries, including Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Brazil, Norway, France, Belgium and Spain.
Spectators will be admitted until 18:45 due to the live broadcast.
Grand Prix competitions will take place in the new and impressive Toto Arena in Holon, located at Peres Park, southeast of the city by the Children’s Museum.
